Pretty Eyes, Mascara Eyes!

I really love mascara and I know plenty of other girls do in the world.


I'm not sure when my obsession for mascara started but I can tell you it was sometime in High School. All I remember is watching my eyes transform every time I applied this dark gunk onto my lashes, boy did I love it.


I think as I grew smarter about mascara and the different types on the market, I realized a very important thing, BIGGER IS BETTER!


I think I've tried all the mascaras on the market or almost every mascara on the market. I'm the type of girl that is never satisfied with beauty products, I'm always searching for something better. I'm not going to bore you on this post and review every single mascara I have applied to my lashes, I'm just going to go right ahead and tell you my favorite and the best by far!


So here it is ladies, the ultimate mascara that is affordable and is accessible; meaning you can go almost anywhere and find it. Target, Walmart, Rite aid, CVS, Walgreen's, and yeah pretty much you get the idea. Maybelline Volum' Express The Falsies!!!! My favorite one is "Black Drama"

I have recommended this mascara to a few people and they have praised me and thanked me because they could not believe how amazing it really is. Id say compared to many of the expensive brands... this mascara does a better job than most of the more expensive brands. It actually does what it says it does.


I mean come on I have expressed my love for fake eye lashes, but we cant afford to have those things on all the time, so why not have an awesome substitute for the regular days, or the days you just don't have the real falsies on hand? Let me tell you something..... I get this stuff for like $6 at my local Target, you cannot go wrong! Everyone likes different things but I encourage all of you to go and try and it possibly hear the angels sing!

Bed, Bath, and Beyond Beyond Beyond!!!

So where have I been for the past years of my life missing out on Bed, Bath & Beyond? I don't know but I am almost ashamed of saying this: I have never stepped a foot in their doors! Up until today!

I cannot believe how much I was missing out on! I mean no seriously If you've never gone there go ASAP!!! It is really beyond!!! Lol

I went in thinking I was going to find funky smelling lotions and things of that nature but WHOA! What a surprise when I found Makeup, hair products, nail polish and uhhhh a cotton candy making machine? No freakeenn way! Upon a whole bunch of other neat stuff, I mean it is never ending!

This was like heaven. I mean I did a nail polish haul... because not only did they have one of my new favorite brands of nail polish: "Sinful Colors"..... They had the color I've been looking for in like FOREVER! Lol I couldn't  believe my eyes! Most of them were sold out but they had two colors I really loved so I bought them!

So ladies: If you haven't experienced Bed, Bath & Beyond, go do so now and I promise you it is beyond your expectations!

A Few Must Haves And Must Dos!

So here is a lovely post for all you lovely ladies out there. I always say to myself that there are certain things on earth every woman should have at least one of or every woman should do at least once in their lives. I absolutely love love love like a lot of things, but okay I can't help myself when it comes to leopard print and lace. oh and pink stuff. Well not all pink stuff but there are some things that just look that much better because they are pink!! So here are some things I absolutely feel like every woman should have at least one thing of and do at least once in their lives! Enjoy!! PINK BLAZER? Yesss Please!!!!

I absolutely feel like every woman should have at least one piece in their closet that is leopard print. Like I cannot even count the ways in which it is sooooo wrong for a woman NOT to have a piece of leopard print in their lives. I mean it just makes you feel absolutely amazing and gorgeous and all sorts of luscious and fancy! Lol So Yessss go run out and buy something leopard print for yourself! That is if you don't already have something in your closet and if you do.... well cheers to that sexiness! ;)   If you love shoes, then these gorgeous booties might be the right choice for you! If you want just a little bit of leopard print, then this cute scarf just might be the answer! I love blazers, but a leopard print blazer like this one is like the answer to my prayers! Lol and the list goes on, but last and certainly not least.... a cute little cardigan like this one can absolutely spice up any outfit!

My second absolute must have is LACE! Yessss LACE! Go run as fast as you can and get something lace, but specifically like a lace top or lace skirt... I don't know even a lace body suit if you are into taking risks with your wardrobe! I mean lace screams sexiness! It is pure sex on your body. I cannot begin to imagine life without lace! well yeah I can but you know what I mean. If you don't have something lace in your life then I suggest put it in your phone alarms or on your little to-do list or something! GO GET LACE! As a matter of fact here let me help you out!!! Lol A lace dress is so sexy for any occasion, I think you can even wear this on Christmas if you do it the right way! This gorgeous dress by H&M is only $35 bucks! Seriously just go and buy it don't even think about it! Now for the more risky bunch of us out there this is the item for you! :-x I know what you're thinking but that thing is sexy as heck!!! Anyway if you are not that risk takish, then these lace leggings you might love and only $11 bucks? No way! Oh yess way!!!

My next must have, actually this one is A MUST DO! Please be advised this might be a little racy or offensive if you're a prude or even not a prude...... whatever you might be.... so not my business! I don't know about y'all but I seriously love a comfortable feeling when it comes to my vajayy. Yes I said it my down there! Okay it's a natural thing and we are all grown ups here, well at least I hope so! Lol So anyway my point is that every woman should experience a BRAZILIAN WAX! YESSS!  It is heavenly... well not while its getting done but the aftermath is rewarding! I promise you so much! It is a must do. You will love it, and your significant other will too! Go get it done! Everything. Not a bikini wax.... a Brazilian one and I promise you the angels will sing when you open your legs! HAHAHAHA -_-

Okay and now another MUST DO is getting your make-up professionally done! Please go and treat yourself to this if you haven't already. It doesn't matter for what occasion just do it! I don't care if you're going to walk your dog or go to dinner on Friday night with your BF or BFF.... Just go and do it!!! I cannot tell you how much louder the angels will sing when you look at your beautiful self in the mirror! Yes they will sing louder! Oh and by the way while you're at it don't forget to tell them to do falsies on you. (Fake eyelashes) I promise you will feel like a goddess sent from above! Lol I love make up and everything else it does to you! physically, emotionally, mentally I mean it is a transformation at it's best! Well there you go, since it is about to be the holiday's, you have a nice excuse to go get your makeup done professionally. New Year's? Don't mind if I do!

Heres a tip: Now DO NOT quote me on this but I think Mac Cosmetics does it for free if you buy something from them. I mean like go treat yourself to a new lipstick or eye shadow and get the whole makeup professional thing done. You wont regret it!

2011 Holiday List

Since it's the holidays and I just put up this site (again) I figured I should do a holiday themed post. I've been wanting to do a holiday list of gifts that are awesome and maybe they are suitable for some of the people in your lives. ^_^
I know how many of you leave the shopping for last minute! I am guilty of this as well, don't worry we are human after all.

So here goes:

For the MEN.... I have to say that I am in love with these shawl collared sweaters I am seeing in stores a lot this season. These sweaters flatter all ages in my opinion and they can be found in many stores! I absolutely love this one by H&M from the holiday collection, and for $14.95, this is an amazing deal!! Now the only thing with this is you must check your local store for availability and I am assuming most stores will be sold out because it is a gorgeous sweater. Bummer. 

An essential item I feel like every woman should own is a simple tote bag. I love the tote style because it can work for any woman. A business woman with paper work, a college girl on the go, for travel, and even for a day or evening out on the town. A tote is not huge but it fits like your whole life in it. -_- No seriously it does! Lol
Add this to your holiday list for any woman in your life and see how much they will love it! One of my favorites is the Longchamp Le Pliage Tote pictured here in black in the large size and it can be found in many department stores.
Have a few extra bucks to spend go all out on this tote by Michael Kors and play it classic. The black leather tote is my personal favorite but it comes in many more colors and under $200 bucks.

Sometimes it's really hard to get something for the men in our lives. It's like... what the heck do they like? right? Right, so I think like an awesome gift is a watch. I mean of course this could be for a woman too but his gift item post is dedicated to the men. I really like the high end stuff, I mean who doesn't right? But lets be serious not all of us can afford that stuff! I stumbled upon a brand of watches that have very clever designs and some come off as "the high end stuff" with a not so high end price. Invicta Watches are beautiful! Now don't get me wrong there are some watches that will cost you and arm and a leg but not all. Check out the site and also check out Amazon.com for awesome sales on this brand as well.
 

If you have like a reallyyyy reallyyyyyy reallyyyy special somebody, then I've got the gift for you to give or possibly receive. I emphasized the "really" because this one is on the expensive side. The MacBook Pro! This thing is like gorgeous! I just feel like this is an awesome gift for like anybody! The MacBook pro starts at around $1,199.00 and goes up from there. I know someone deserves this.

Since we are on the electronics topic.... that reminds me: A CAMERA! Who wouldn't love a new camera all shiny and pictury taking! I mean seriously even I want a new one even though I don't need one, but that's besides the point. There are so many of them on the market and the competition is up there but here are a few I found interesting and gift worthy.
This one  by GE is so cute and fits in your pocket and even better its waterproof! Not to mention what awesome price!
The Sony Cyber-Shot is like too too cute for its own good! Available in four great colors and my favorite is the pink of course!
Last but not least this one is not high end or anything but I feel like it's good for a younger person, maybe a teen or pre-teen. It shoots video and for $39.99 you absolutely can't go wrong! Check it out here or Google it for an even cheaper price! For the win!!!



Let us not forget the little ones in our lives. You may have a niece or nephew, a little cousin or little ones of your own and let me start by saying that there are so many neat toys out there and it really can be a challenge to choose one or two. My tip would be to always play it safe and start off with something age appropriate. Here are three of my favorite ideas for the little ones. The "Let's Rock Elmo" is so adorable and interactive, the little ones will love this and it comes in at a great price.

The inner child in me wants this next toy for myself. I cannot help myself it is adorable. This might work for both girls and boys as well, although some may disagree with me and say this is a girl toy. The "FurReal Friends Puppy-Cookie My Playful Pup" comes in at around $45 and WOW what an amazing prize for this life-like puppy. Great for those who cannot have a real dog but want one.... maybe this can be a temporary solution.

Last but not least in this kid category... a play tent!!!! Who doesn't want one of these? I mean like come on think back when you were younger and made huts out of chairs and blankets and like anything you could find. Yeahhh! Ahhh those were the good old days! :) Well yeah the modern day blankets and chairs has become an awesome gift idea for the kid full of imagination! There are many to choose from and the prices vary widely so I suggest work with your budget. With this one you don't have to spend a lot and it's suitable for both boy's and girls. There are so many to choose from and some are even under $20.... How can you go wrong? Now please note I have only used Toysrus.com but there are many other places these toys can be found.

Welcome Note

Facebook for family and Twitter for friends and strangers, but a blog is for the world. 

I am starting my blog today (for the third time) because the two previous times have not been so successful. I guess it’s been because the two previous times the timing wasn't right or I just didn’t have the time to commit to it fully but this time I really want to do it.

I think for the most part my blog will be to let out an inspiration of mine that I can’t physically pursue, fashion and beauty. I’ve always loved fashion and beauty stuff ever since I was younger, but honestly what girl doesn’t? Lol

I feel like maybe I didn’t believe in myself enough and that was my biggest discouragement. Or maybe it was my mother because she’s one of those parents that don’t really push their kids to do anything except get an education and bla bla. I’ve always been motivated to do well in life overall regardless of not having pushy parents. 

So what can you expect from my site? I actually don’t know how to answer that yet, but just know that it will be good stuff and I am random and I will incorporate a lot of the things I personally experience in my life. So the site will be as raw as can be. 

I look forward to being a lab rat and trying out products and giving my honest opinion and advice on everything. I hope to be of some kind of help to real females and/or males somewhere out there. I look forward to all of it. 

And of course I want comments and feedback and questions so I can answer them. Whether it is negative or positive I can handle it so all you negative people out there all I have to say is bring it!

I am such a positive person that I just laugh at negativity and how much the world is affected by it. I seriously think it’s a disease and I would like to help find the cure for it. Lol
